This year, the goal is to go deeper into the roots of surfing and strengthen the image of La Union's lively culture by combining surfing, arts and music. People from different regions will flock towards the great shores of La Union and make this 8th year the most successful surfing music festival in the country.
Beach performances by international acts and upcoming featured local and international artist. Who's playing? DJ Nix Damn P, Tropical Depression, The Bloomfields, Salamin, Quest, Indio I, Franco, RAC (Remix Artists Collective), and from LA, the electro-pop duo, Classixx!
The annual La Union Surf Break is also throwing the first Poks Forever Surf Competition in memory of La Union’s one-legged surfer who passed away last year. Ronnie “Poks” Esquivel was known to be one of the country’s top surfers who represented the Philippines in various world surf competitions and whose presence in the international surfing scene helped showcase La Union as a prime surfing destination.
