Experience the colors, sights, foods and shopping at the Lucban San Isidro Pahiyas Festival. Come and join as they bring you to one of the most colorful festivals in the Philippines.

Every year, the streets come alive for the San Isidro Pahiyas Festival in Lucban, Quezon. The festival, colloquially known as Pahiyas, is how the agricultural municipality celebrates a bountiful harvest. It also honors San Isidro, the patron saint of farmers in Roman Catholicism.

The festival’s name comes from the tagalog terms “Hiyas and Pahiyas which means to decorate the hall with "kiping" and other agricultural harvest. If you’re not familiar with kiping, it is made from ground rice flour, which shaped like real leaves or other leaf forms and colored in red, yellow, green, orange and other bright shades. After producing a lot of "kiping", they formed it into different shapes like chandeliers called Anok or huge flowers.
